William Junior Meyers, 61, Rapid City, died Tuesday evening, May 24, 2005, at a Rapid City health care center. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Meyers of Belle Fourche; two brothers; Calvin and Jim Meyers, also of Belle Fourche; niece and nephew.

William was born on December 31, 1943 in Belle Fourche to William and Ruth Quenzer Meyers and was raised on a farm near Fruitdale and Belle Fourche. He attended school in Belle Fourche and later, worked for Belle Fourche Livestock Exchange and St. Onge Livestock Exchange.

He moved to Rapid City where he worked for the Rapid City Civic Center and Sears. He has resided in Rapid City until his death.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Meyers: sister, Sharon Shear: and a brother, Rich Meyers

Services will be at the Funeral Home of the Northern Hills Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM with Rev. Rick Brennan of Belle Fourche Open Bible Church officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City at 2:00 PM.
