Wayne Chesrown, age 66 of Carson, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.

Funeral services for Wayne will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Carson, ND.  Pastor Bethany Haberstroh will officiate with burial to follow in the Carson Community Cemetery at Carson.

Wayne Eldon Chesrown was born on August 12, 1955 to Homer and Anna (Mortenson) Chesrown in Bismarck, ND.  He grew up on the family farm west of Lark, ND.  Wayne attended Carl Country School and graduated from Roosevelt High School at Carson in 1973.  Following his schooling he began working on the ranch with his parents.

Wayne and his dad sold Conklin and Baldwin filters for 30+ years.  He loved horses and was part of the Almont Wagon Train for many years.  He rode horse in many area parades and was known to be quite the "cow whisperer".  He was a member of the Carson Fire Department and a kind and gentle man, always willing to help anyone he could.  He enjoyed pitching horseshoes and spending time on the ranch.

Wayne is survived by his brother, Darwin (Doreen) Chesrown, Turtle Lake, ND; sister, Arlene Running, Crosby, ND; nieces, Sheri (Saul) Maier and Christina Running; nephews, Cody Chesrown and Travis Running; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a great-niece, Elizabeth Maier.
