Virginia was a member of the Baptist Church.  She was the Register of Deeds for Corson County for 24 years, retiring in 2014. She owned and operated the Hilltop Cafe in McIntosh.  She was active on the Corson County Fair Board and the Senior Citizen Board for many years. Virginia stayed busy throughout her life working at the show hall, in cafes, and cleaning multiple businesses in McIntosh. She loved watching Hallmark and Lifetime movies and Sunday morning worship services.  She enjoyed going to the casino and playing her favorite penny machine, drinking Diet Coke, eating Hershey's milk chocolate bars, and Lay's plain potato chips. She loved to cook and bake and making homemade kuchen, caramel rolls, cheese buttons, and knoephla soup was something she always enjoyed doing.  She enjoyed listening to country, gospel, and Elvis music while working in the kitchen. She loved attending all the celebrations and activities that her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were in.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.  She will be missed by all that knew her.
