Graveside Service of Remembrance for Viola Link, 82, of Elgin, ND will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning, May 26, 2005 at the Prairieview Cemetery in Heil, ND with Pastor Larry Ouhl, officiating.

Viola Link was born on December 24, 1922 to George and Elizabeth (Delzer) Link at their farm, 13 miles south of Heil, ND. She grew up on the family farm and attended the Cowan School #2 through the 8th grade. Viola continued to help with the work on the farm with her family. Her father passed away in 1963 and in 1969, she and her mother moved into Elgin, ND. Her mother passed away in 1973, Viola lived at her home in Elgin until July of 1998 until she suffered a stroke. In December of 1998, Viola entered the Jacobson Memorial Care Center where she passed from this life on Sunday, May 22, 2005.

She is survived by her brother, Wilbur and wife Irene Link, of Elgin; sister, Evelyn Link, of Seattle, WA, Ida Nagel, of St. Paul, MN and Gertrude Link, of Mott, ND. Viola was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Lena Fidler and one brother, Clarence Link.
