Viola Renee (Irwin) Prazma 63 passed away unexpectedly at her home in Hettinger ND. on July 30th, 2025.

Memorial services will be held at 10 A.M. at the Assembly of God Church Hettinger, ND. August 9th, 2025. The burial will be held at a later date.

She graduated from Hettinger High School Class of 1980.  After graduation she moved to the Bismarck-Mandan area and was a Nurse's Aide at the Mandan Villa Nursing Home and Missouri Slope Nursing Home Bismarck, ND.  Later in life she moved to Missoula, MT. to be closer to her dad & mom.

She worked at the Missoula Manor for over 20 plus years as a cook.  She married Stan Prazma in Missoula, MT. but later divorced. She was blessed with her beautiful Daughter Emily in 2008 (she was Viola's everything in life).

Viola and Emily moved to Billings, MT. in 2012 where she worked for Sodexo servicing food in the cafeteria at Castle Rock Middle School Billings, MT.  They moved to Hettinger, ND in March of 2013 where she work in the kitchen at the West River Health Services Hospital for a short time.  They moved back to Missoula 2014 where she returned to work at Missoula Manor.  Moving back to Hettinger, ND 2022 where she work at the American Legion as the lunch cook.  Viola was a jack of all trades.

Viola enjoyed reading, doing many crafts, and spending time with Emily and family.  Viola's passion was cooking and baking.

Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter Emily Hettinger, ND; brother Ricky (Brenda) Irwin, Hettinger, sister Mary (Ken) Billings, MT; six nieces Heather, Becky, Allicia, Amanda, Kara, Kellie & Katie; five nephews Leland, Eric, Nick, Keith, & Kevin. and multiple great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wally & Beverly, Brother Donnie, Sister Lucinda, and Brother Wally Jr. grandparents Wiley & Mary Irwin, Marion & Flora Abbey, aunts, and uncles.
