Viola L. Carr age 92 of Hulett WY died Tuesday December 11th, 2007 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held later this spring.

Funeral arrangements are with Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche.

Viola L. Carr was born November 26, 1915 in Broken Bow, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Clarence and Coralie (Govaerts) Govier. At a young age, Viola moved with her family to Idaho where she lived for many years. In 1978 she moved to Sheridan WY and later Gillette and Big Horn. In 1996 she moved to Hulett WY where she has lived since.

Viola enjoyed collecting dolls and will be remembered for being a hard worker and one who loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.

Viola is survived by her son, Emmett (Fran) Hamilton of Belle Fourche; sisters, Agnes Harbert of Alpine OR, Anna Norstrom of Sheridan WY; 3 grandchildren, Cori (Earl) Busenitz of Hulett WY and their 3 children Seely, Seth, and Grant; Vicki (Dave Carr) Hamilton of Elfin Forest CA and their children Sara, Liam, and Danny; Lee (Rita) Hamilton of Valdez AK and their 2 children Luke (and his wife Katie) and Brianne.

Viola was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Carr; son, Lowell; and daughter, Gail Wagenson.
