Mass of Christian burial for Vincent Muggli Jr., age 75 of Carson, will be held at 10:30am Tuesday, July 25, at St Theresa's Catholic Church in Carson. Fr Todd Kreitinger will officiate with burial in the Carson Community Cemtery.


A vigil service will be held at 9:30am on Tuesday morning at St. Theresa's Catholic Church.


Special music will be provided by Patsy Hertz and Jackie Stewart.


Serving as casketbearers are John Zaczkowski, Michael Weinhandl, Timmy and David Muggli, Daniel and Luke Deichert.


VINCENT VICTOR MUGGLI JR. was born April 14, 1931 at Carson, ND. He was the sixth of nine children born to Vincent and Elizabeth (Soring) Muggli Sr. Vincent attended grade and high school in Carson graduating from Carson High School in 1949. He began farming with his brother Leo. Vincent was inducted into the U.S. Army on November 7, 1951 and was honorably discharged on August 8, 1953. He returned home where he continued farming with his brothers until his health failed.


Vincent passed away on Thursday afternoon, July 20, at his home in Carson.


Surviving family members include 1 brother, Leo Muggli, Carson, ND; 4 sisters, Anne (Archie) Shaw, Mandan, ND; Therese Deichert, Carson, ND; Mary Muggli, Santa Fe, NM; Barbara (Charles) Dascalos, Sylmar, CA; 1 sister-in-law, Mary Muggli, Carson, ND; 1 brother-in-law, Nick Zaczkowski, Cold Spring, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Anthony; 2 sisters, Rose Weinhandl; and Helen Zaczkowski.


Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 9:00am to 10:30am at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Carson.
