Victor H. Sprecher, age 93, of Bismarck, formerly of Mott, North Dakota, returned to his heavenly home on Monday, September 18, 2023, surrounded by family.

Funeral services for Victor will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Leipzig, ND.  Pastor Corey Warner will officiate with burial to follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery at New Leipzig.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2023 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Leipzig.

Victor was born on September 15, 1930, to Herbert and Emma (Baesler) Sprecher.  Victor grew up on a farm northwest of New Leipzig, North Dakota. In high school, Victor enjoyed playing basketball and football along with his friends from the class of 1949.

On February 4, 1956, Victor married Betty Fuchs.  They were married in Moorhead, Minnesota at the First Lutheran Church.  They lived in New Leipzig and Mott. They resided in Mott for 36 years where they raised their three daughters. Upon Victor's retirement from farming, they moved to Bismarck where they resided for 28 years.

Victor always had a great sense of humor and enjoyed visiting with friends and family. He took great pride in his family's accomplishments and was meticulous in everything he did. He had a lifelong passion for farming and loved to watch his crops grow. The harvest season was his favorite time of year. He made a point to ride in a combine each fall long after he retired. Victor also loved traveling with his wife, Betty. They traveled south for the winter each year and they enjoyed many cruises and trips to other countries throughout their marriage. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing pool, cards, and going fishing.  Victor will be missed and was greatly loved.

Victor is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty; his sister ViAnn (Larry) Becker, Garden City, Kansas; his children Sherry (Virgil) Meier, Mott, North Dakota; Sheila (Dave) Myers, Bismarck, North Dakota; Shelly (Tony) Olson, Gillette, Wyoming; his 7 grandchildren Brittany (Pete) Reis, Shantel Meier, Seth Meier, Eric (Janny) Tietz, Beth (Tyler) Morrison, Brandon Wyckoff, Cody Wyckoff; and his 9 great grandchildren Peter, Addy, Olivia, and Everett Reis; Edith and Crosby Morrison; Zoe and Journey Wyckoff; and Faith Wyckoff. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Emma; brothers Virgil and Vernon; and sisters, Vesta Stelter, Velma Schramm, and Velore Sprecher.
