Vicki Hansen age 56 of Spearfish, died Wednesday December 26, 2007 at the Spearfish Regional Hospital.

The funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Friday at the St. James Lutheran Church in Belle Fourche, with Rev. Jeff Otterman officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held in the Pine Slope Cemetery, Belle Fourche.

Memorials are preferred to the Belle Fourche Humane Society.

Vicki Lynn Graf was born February 2, 1952 in Jonesboro, AR. She was the daughter of Joe and Martha (Cox) Graf. Vicki grew up in California and Wyoming, and in 1968 she was married to LeRoy Brown in Buffalo SD. To this union, two daughters were born: Tammie and Connie Brown. Vicki and LeRoy later divorced. On December 1, 1984 Vicki was married to Don Hansen and since then they have lived in Spearfish.

Years ago, Vicki worked at the Christenson's Department Store in Belle Fourche. She also worked 8 years at American Colloid. For 20 years, Vicki worked as a paraprofessional for Black Hills Special Services, retiring this past February of 2007.

Vicki will be remembered for being a hard worker, and one who loved nature. She especially loved flowers and growing her peach trees. She had a very green thumb when it came to flowers and plants. Vicki was artistic in many ways. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all her family.

Vicki is survived by her husband Don of Spearfish; daughters, Connie (fiancé' Steve Hoven) Brown of Belle Fourche, Tammie (Jim Anderson) Brown of Belle Fourche; granddaughter, Abbigail Brown; grandson, Logan Brown; great granddaughter, Lynnea Brown; her parents, Joe and Martha Graf of Belle Fourche; and sisters, Sandra Bartsch of Atwood Kansas, and Pamela (Ken) Hansen of Fruitdale.
