A Service Celebrating the Life of Venoye Wise, age 61 of Tacoma, WA; formerly of Lemmon, will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Lemmon. Pastor Karen Edwards will officiate with burial in Greenhill Cemetery.


Venoye was born on March 12, 1953 in Lemmon, SD to Morris and Irene (Lambert) Wise. She grew up in Lemmon and attended school in Lemmon graduating from Lemmon High School. She attended cosmetology school in Rapid City. She lived in Germany for 3 years and returned to Lemmon. Venoye moved to Tacoma, WA since 1976 where she was a beautician. Since 1984, she owned and operated her own beauty shop, Procter Hair Designs until her untimely death on March 10, 2015.

Surviving family members include her daughter, Michelle Prenovost, Tacoma, WA; grandchildren, Christoper, Jeffrey, and Alaura; her brothers, Hardy Wise, Tacoma, WA; J.D. Wise, Irene, SD; Rodney (Connie) Wise, Lemmon, Morgan (Rendy) Wise, Thunder Hawk, SD; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, 1 sister, Gloria Wilson, Sun Lakes, AZ; and special friend, Dean Seidel.

Venoye was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Myron and Larry, and 2 sisters, Beverly and Carol.
