TERRANCE LEE WIESINGER "Terry" was born July 19, 1972 in St. Paul, MN to Terrance Lee Phipps and Maxann (Hill) Phipps. At age 2, he came to Lemmon, SD. He attended school in Lemmon and at an early age began working on the Wiesinger ranch near Shadehill. At age 16, Terry began working for area farmers and ranchers in both South Dakota and Montana. Terry was a proud father to sons Levi and Cody.

Terry worked for various trucking companies including Quality Transportation. In 2005, he moved to White Butte where he enjoyed raising and breaking his own horses. He was united in marriage to Tammy Pursell on June 30, 2007 at Shadehill Reservoir.

Terry got his own authority in 2007. He was very proud to own and operate under his own authority to the time of his death.

Terry passed away on Monday evening September 14, 2009 at the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger due to injuries sustained in a semi tractor accident.

His joy of life was helping area ranchers work cattle, livestock, and horses. Terry was well known for his big hat, notorious smile, and his big heart. He was not afraid to lend a hand to anyone. He was known to many as "little big rig"".

Surviving are his wife, Tammy, White Butte, SD; 2 sons, Levi (age 15), Cody (age 12) both of Newell, SD; his father, Terry (Beryl) Phipps, Villard, MN; his brother, Raymond Phipps, White Bear Lake, MN; his mother, Maxann (Ed) Wiesinger, Shadehill, SD; his sisters, Candy Maychrzak, Scranton, ND and Trenda Wiesinger, Shadehil, SD; his grandmothers, Lillian Hill, Lemmon, SD; Margaret Phipps, Oakdale, MN; his mother-in-law, Connie Anderson, Wichita, KS; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special "Little Brother" Nick Treib.
