TERRANCE JAMES DILLMAN "Terry" was born January 22, 1949 at McIntosh, SD, the second child born to Peter and Shirley (Umber) Dillman. He grew up on the farm in the Walker, SD area along with his four brothers and sister and attended school at McIntosh. Terry worked various jobs in several different states. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp from May 20, 1969 to May 19, 1971 and was stationed in Santa Ana, CA. Following his discharge, he returned to North Dakota and drove truck for the cheese plant in Selfridge, ND.
Terry moved to Wyoming where he started working in the heating and cooling business. In 1977, he moved to Las Vegas, NV and opened his own plumbing business, later taking his skills to Incline Village, NV, then on o Connecticut, and on to Lathonia, GA where he remained. When health issues forced him into retirement, he still continued to help people as much as he was able.
Terry was a cowboy at heart and was seldom seen without his boots and hat. He loved horses. He had a heart of gold and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He never saw color or race and was kind to all. He often said that some people couldn't pay him for his plumbing services so he just accepted whatever they offered.
