Sylvia Petik, age 81 of Keldron, passed away early Friday morning, September 25, 2009 at the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 28th, 2009 at 10;30 a.m. at the Spencer Memorial Presbyterian Church in Lemmon. Rev. Webster P. Brower will officiate and burial will follow at Hillview Cemetery in Isabel, SD. Visitations will be from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27th at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the Church monday morning. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home in Lemmon.

Although Sylvia and her late husband, Rudy did not have children of their own, very special to their lives were their American and Canadian neices, nephews, great neices, great nephews and great-great neices. Sylvia is also survived by her Godchild, Crismarie (Gary) Petik, of Brookings, SD.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rudy in 1997 and her siblings.
