Lemmon
A Celebration of Life for Steven Langley age 51 of Lemmon will be held at 5:00pm May 14, 2018 at his home east of Lemmon.
Steven Henry Langley passed from this world on May 2
nd
, 2018 at the Jacobson Memorial Hospital in Elgin, North Dakota. Steve was born on May 3
rd
, 1966 to parents, Paul and Della Langley, in the small coastal town of Heislerville, New Jersey. He was third in a family of five boys and enjoyed exploring the outdoors. He ended his high school career graduating at Forest High School in Florida in the class of 1984. Steve was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Tracy, and they shared twenty-nine wonderful years together.
Steve's first job was billboard construction, which led him to lunch at the café where he met his wife. He always said his favorite job he held was as a CNA at a nursing home because he could give faith to those that needed it greatly; he cared for others more than himself and always tried to protect the defenseless. An admirable man to many, he truly was. Steve could do just about anything and would never hesitate to help a person in need, a man who could light up a room with just a smile and would make you feel like you were his best friend in a matter of minutes. Throughout his life he made countless friends everywhere he traveled, and he was unforgettable to all.
Steve enjoyed taking his children on road trips, riding his Harley any chance that he had, and building anything he set his mind to. One of his greatest passions in life was woodworking, a skill he learned masterfully from his father. Steve donated many of his works to charities and fundraisers; he spent much of his free time volunteering for events, school functions, or anything that was asked of him- and felt honored to do so. Another joy in his life was cooking; everything he made he made with endless passion. The most important thing out of life to Steve, however, was his family. He adored his wife and children with immeasurable love to be missed greatly.
He is survived by his spouse, Tracy, along with two children, Steven and Kimberly. He was preceded in death by his mother Della, his father Paul, and his eldest brother Paul.
Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not, for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the hand of my righteousness."
John 16:22 22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you
God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without rain, but he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. – Author Unknown
