Graveside services for Ruben Frey, age 63, of Elgin, ND, will be held at 12:00 p.m. noon on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Hope Congregational Cemetery in Elgin, ND. Pastor Bill Bradley will officiate and a time of fellowship and luncheon will follow in the Elgin Community Center.


Ruben passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.


He is survived by his son, Jesse "J.R." (Alayna) Frey, Bismarck, ND; daughter, Tess (Sean) Hotchkiss, Mandan, ND; three grandchildren, Annabella Hotchkiss, Ryan and Jack Frey; three brothers, Henry (Marleen) Frey, Elgin, ND, Albert (Darlene) Frey, Mott, ND and Chris (Donna) Frey, Bismarck, ND; three sisters, Katherine Wyman, Bowman, ND, Helen (Dave) Reineke, Elgin, ND and Wanda (Wade) Dachtler, Elgin, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, John Frey and Pauline (Frey) Iszler; sister, Elizabeth Frey; twin brothers in infancy; and one brother-in-law, Jack Wyman.
