Roy W. Finck, age 59 of Spokane, WA, formerly of Burt, ND, passed away at his home on January 30, 2011.


The Funeral Service for Roy will be held at 11:00am Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Zoar Congregational Church in Mott, ND. Pastor Corey Warner will officiate with burial in Sunnyslope Cemetery at Mott.

Roy Wayne Finck was born August 28, 1951 at Elgin, ND to Erwin and Anna (Fischer) Finck. He graduated from Mott Lincoln High School in 1969 and attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, graduating with a BA Degree.


Following his graduation, he moved to Pierre, SD where he worked as a Sales Representative for Morris Equipment Company, later transferring to Spokane, WA. He married Inez Wynn and they later divorced.


Roy was currently working as an investment broker and insurance agent for Washington Farmer Stockmen in Spokane.


Surviving family members include his mother, Anna Finck, Burt, ND; sister, Gloria Olson, Bismarck, ND; brother, Perry Finck and his wife MiChelle, Mott, ND; nephews, Beau (Kate) and Elliott Finck, Lance (Rhonda) Olson, and Steve Olson, niece, Lori (Shawn) DeKeyser, and grand nieces and nephews; his special friends in Spokane, Mike and Debbie Simock, Buff and Jean Pollack and Bill and Alli Hockett.


He was preceded in death by his father, his twin brother, Ray Dean, and brothers, Larry and Melvin.



Serving as casketbearers are Beau and Elliott Finck, Kyler, Jaren, Lance, and Steve Olson.
