A memorial service for Roger Wilson, age 76, of Haynes, North Dakota, is scheduled for Saturday, February 6th at 11:00am CT (10:00 a.m. MT).  The service will be hosted virtually via Zoom.  Roger passed away at home on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021. He was born November 10, 1944 in Baileyboro, Texas to Baye and Gladys Wilson. He married Kae Lyn Merwin in Muleshoe, TX on December 16, 1966.

In 1968, Roger and Kae Lyn moved back to the Hettinger area. The next several years brought a family of three: Jason, Jerad, and Jolonna.  Roger enjoyed farming his land and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was proud of his family! One of his favorite pastimes was drinking coffee with his buddies at the cafe.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Kae Lyn, in September of 2014; his parents; his sisters, Marieta Thomas, Nelda Jo Teter, and Cathy Wilson; as well as his brothers, Gordon Wilson and Stanley Wilson.

Roger is survived by his brother, Mickey (Jan) of Amarillo, TX; two sisters, Jan Furr of Amarillo, TX; Dianne Brown of Muleshoe, TX; son Jason (Melanie) and their children Bay and McKenzie; son Jerad (Sonya) and their children Shaugnessy, Savannah, Jerad Jr and Justin; and daughter Jolonna Diaz (Raul) and their children Camden and Terryn.  All children and grandchildren live in  Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by his four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
