Robena Christine Rinderneck was born in McIntosh, SD September 21, 1933 to Harris Rinderneck and Emma Brumbaugh Rinderneck. She went to grade school in Watauga, SD and then went to High School in McIntosh, graduating in 1952.

On August 2, 1952 Robena married Art Moser.  They made their home south of McIntosh where Art and three of his brothers were ranching. Art and Beanie had two children, Bernita and Dwane.

Robena, or Beanie, as everyone knew her, spent her life taking care of and in service to her family and the community.  As one of the eldest of 12, she helped her parents with her younger brothers and sisters. On the farm, in addition to taking care of her husband and children, she took care of Art's brothers. Her kitchen was her "happy" place. She always made sure the coffee pot was full and food was on the table. If there was a community event she was there with casseroles, baked goods, kind words, and anything else she could do.

Art passed away on January 23, 1989. Bernita had married and moved to Denver. Robena and Dwane stayed on the farm until 1997 when they moved to Mobridge. She continued her love of family and friends through letters, cards and phone calls. If they were ok, so was she. Eventually her hands could no longer hold a pen or cook at the stove, but those phone calls never stopped and when anyone came to visit she made sure the coffee was on and there was something to eat.

Robena is survived by her children, Bernita (James) Christenson and Dwane Moser, all of Mobridge,  SD;  3 grandchildren, Michelle Scaroboro, Melanie Fairfield, and Jonathan Pense, 6 great grandchildren,  all in the Denver Metro area, brothers,  Keith Rinderneck, Buffalo, WY, Terry Rinderneck, Mobridge, SD; sisters,  Diane Block, Webster, SD, Darlene Van Emmerick, Sioux Falls, SD;  sister-in-law, Penny Rinderneck, Arlington, SD; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harris and Emma, brothers: Kenneth, Donald, Ernest, and Ronald, sisters: Wilda Hawkins, Grace Johnson, Donna Price, Doris Henderson; son-in-law, Daniel Pense; and niece, Tammy Van Emmerick.

Every soul has its personal journey while here on earth and this was Robena's.

Cards can be mailed to Bernita Christenson, 520 6 th St W., Mobridge, SD  57601.
