Memorial Service for Randall Derrick Price, 25, of Dickinson, formerly of Hettinger, ND will be Monday, February 21, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hettinger Baptist Church. His Step-father, Pastor John Lewis will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and a time of sharing memories with the family will follow the service.

Randall left us behind, broken in a way that can never be repaired. He left us on January 27th 2011, suddenly in his sleep. His life was short but as we have found out over the last few days, he touched more lives than I can even mention. Randall was like no other. He was kind to everyone, would do anything for you, resilient, NEVER met a stranger, loved every living thing and absolutely loved to laugh as well as make you do it too (even if you didn't want to). He was amazing!

Randall was born in Meridian Mississippi on May 22, 1985 to Paula (Chasteen) Lewis (Hettinger ND) and Michael Price (Southport, NC). When he was 14 months old the family moved to Southport, NC which is where he lived until October 2009 when he moved to North Dakota. He graduated from South Brunswick High School in 2003. He always planned to go back to his home, close to the beach, in North Carolina. He loved the ocean, fishing / flounder gigging, hunting, playing pool, Texas hold-em and just plain having fun. He was making plans for his first hunting trip in North Dakota with some of his new friends / co-workers next year. He loved to play soccer when he was just a little younger and probably would have gladly played again. He feared nothing and he loved life!

Randall was preceded in death by Grandfather John D. Price; Grandparents-Samuel & Clistia Lewis; Uncle-William "Billy" F. Chasteen Jr., Great Grandmothers-Mary E. Swanson & Delta Blanton; Great Grandfather-Commador Chasteen ; Cousins-Dillan P. Creech & Cynthia Shatterly.

Blessed to have been able to share his very short life are his Mother-Paula Lewis; Father-Michael Price; Step Father-John Lewis; Step Mother-Kaye Price; Brothers-Jesse Price & John Lewis Jr.; Grandmothers- Loretta Price & Rosalie Chasteen; Grandfather & Step Grandmother-Fred & Marge Chasteen; Step Sisters-Randi (Justin) Shoberg, Laci (Albert) Ward, Rita (Steven)Sullivan, Stephanie Bounds & Step Brother Tommy Bounds. There were also many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces & Nephews, too many to name but they all know that they had their place in his heart. There were also So Many Friends that we could never list them all.
