Pauline Veronica Huck Zentner died on October 17, 2026 at the age of 80 in Fort Pierre, SD.

Pauline was born on April 5, 1946 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Dickinson, ND to Ralph and Katie Huck. She was raised on a farm south of Keldron, SD with her 18 siblings. On June 6, 1964 she married Leon Zentner. They made their home on a farm south of Morristown, SD where they worked and raised three children, Mike, Tim, and Dawn. In 1978 they bought their own place, the Hard Hat Ranch, where they lived until 2024. Pauline loved being busy. Her door was always open to family, friends, and neighbors. Whether it was just a quick visit, sharing a meal, or playing a game or two of Pinocle, a good time was had by all. Pauline enjoyed going on adventures with her sisters. Nothing beats Sister Time! She cherished her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would do anything for them. She always had a snack and time to spend with them. On June, 2024, Leon and Pauline moved to Fort Pierre, SD where they resided until their passing. 

Pauline is survived by her children Mike (Serena), Tim, and Dawn(Sam), 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon, grandson Nick, her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.In honor of Pauline's giving spirit, a donation will be made to St. Jude's Hospital in her name.
