Funeral services for Pauline "Polly" Srb, age 94 of Mott, will be 2:00pm Tuesday, August 23, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home Chapel in Mott. Pastor John Amundson will officiate with burial in Sunnyslope Cemetery.


Special music will be provided by Pat Schwartz and Diane Vetter.

All friends and family are considered honorary bearers.

A memorial has been established to the Good Samaritan Nursing Center.

PAULINE EFIMENKO "Polly" was born July 20, 1911 in McClean County, at Butte, ND to Peter and Charatina (Martinchenko) Efimenko. She attended school at Butt where she graduated from high school. Polly attended Minot Normal School where she earned her teaching certificate. She taught at schools in Butte and Martin before moving to Mott.

Polly was united in marriage to Frank Srb on November 25, 1947. She continued to teach in Mott for many years until her retirement. She moved to Killdeer and then returned to Mott and has continued to reside at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center since. She passed from this life there on Friday morning, August 19, at the age of 94 years, 29 days.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting, and reading. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Mott.

Surviving family members include her 2 sisters, Lydia Anderson, Salem, OR; Nina Hansen, Dickinson, ND and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Harry and Phillip Efimenko; 3 sisters, Alice Horob, Emma Bozenny, and Rose Peterson.
