Celebrating the life of…
Paulette, Paula Greff, 69, of Mott, ND, passed away on Tuesday, October 29th at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck. Paula was born December 27, 1954, the daughter of Paul and Gladys (Kostelecky) Zimmerman in Dickinson, ND.
She grew up in Dickinson, attended school, and worked until she met her life-long best friend Michael Greff. She married Michael on September 24, 1977. Together they made their home on the Greff family farm and had three children: Christy, Michelle, and Justin. Paula was known for her amazing cooking and baking skills. Her nip and cream noodles were requested by many who would come to the farm for a visit. She loved sharing her sweet baked goods with so many friends and family. Paula never turned down a quick game of cards. She enjoyed her bountiful harvest she got from her garden and all her flowerbeds that lined the farmhouse. In her spare time, Paula loved spending time with her pets and doing many crafts such as needlepoint, crocheting, diamond art, and sewing. She gifted all six of her grandchildren a handmade baby blanket when they were born. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Michael, of 47 years; two daughters, Christy (Ryan) Geerdes and Michelle (Randy) Gust- both of Bismarck; and son, Justin (Ivy) Greff, of Mandan; grandchildren, McKenna and Kaden Geerdes, Tailey and Tracen Gust, and Arie and Landyn Greff; brother, Gary (Letty) Zimmerman of Dickinson; several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Simon and Hilaria Greff; and sister-in-law, Jackie Swindler.
Family and friends are encouraged to sign Paulette's guestbook.
