PAMELA KAY GLADER was born on July 16, 1951 in Mobridge, SD to Norman and Marian (Swan) Glader. She grew up and spent her school years in Mobridge and attended Mobridge High School. In 1974, Pam and her family moved to Bismarck, ND, where she met Roger Hacanson. Pam and Roger were united in marriage on July 21, 1990 in Lincoln, ND. They lived in Bismarck until 2000, when they moved to Belle Fourche. Pam loved the Black Hills area and enjoyed being closer to family. She worked at Premier Bankcard in Spearfish and at Pamida in Belle Fourche.

Pam enjoyed gardening, landscaping and working in her yard. She especially enjoyed family gatherings at picnics or barbeques. A very important part of her life was two dogs, Hannah and Titan, which she referred to as her "twins". Pam was a kind and compassionate person and cared for her parents at their home until their passing. She will be remembered as a very caring soul, who always put other people before herself. Pam had a great sense of humor and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Pam Hacanson passed away peacefully at her home in Belle Fourche, SD on March 27, 2005.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Roger, of Belle Fourche; her step-children, Michelle and her husband Jason Swensrud and their children, Brittney and Brandon, all of Mandan, ND, Michael Hacanson, of Fargo, ND and Marsha and her husband Jesse Baumann and their children, Josephine and Paige, all of Bismarck, ND; her father-in-law, Gordon Hacanson, of Garrison, ND; her brothers, Gary and wife C.J.
