PAMELA LEE SENN was born May 2, 1961 the oldest of six children to Roger and Bernice (Zentner) Senn. She attended St. Vincent's Catholic School and graduated from Mott Lincoln High School in 1979. After high school she began working at Remsing Home Center. She married Lee Meier on October 19, 1979 in Mott. Together they had two children, Sara in 1982 and Christopher in 1986.
Pam was a talented woman who accomplished any and every project she wanted. She was often found painting, sewing, decorating, and embroidering. She often made clothes, blankets, and baby items for family and friends. She was always the first one to volunteer to help out another without being asked. Pam spent over 20 years on the Mott Park Board and worked on several community projects during that time. Those projects included the upgrade to the Maercklein Park and the remodeling to the Mott Pool.
Pam also had over a twenty-year career with the Slope Hettinger Soil Conservation District. She loved working outside in the sun planting trees and being in nature. She would also often be found at the Mott Arboretum where she spent many hours planting trees, mowing grass, pulling weeds, and watering. The Arboretum was her place of peace and solitude.
Above all else, family was most important to Pam. She had a special relationship with her father Roger. You could often find them together, working on a project or out at St. Placidus Cemetery. She also loved and adored her granddaughters, Aften and Emeri Hauck. They gave her so much joy and she spent so much of her free time with them. All three of them were often seen around Mott together. "Grandma Pam" was also so delighted to recently learn that she is expecting a grandson this upcoming summer.
Pam will be missed dearly, remembered fondly, and forever loved by her husband of 41 years Lee, Mott, ND; daughter Sara (Shawn) Hauck, Bismarck, ND; son Chris (Sara) Meier, Dickinson, ND; granddaughters Aften and Emeri Hauck, Bismarck, ND; new grandson Easton Meier, due in August 2021, Dickinson, ND; parents Roger and Bernice Senn, Mott, ND; mother-in-law Catherine Kouba, Mott, ND; brother Kevin (Doreen) Senn, Dickinson, ND; sisters Nadine (Bill) Meuler, Mott, ND; Jacky (Jerry) Schaible, Mott, ND; Shelly (Paul) Steiner Dickinson, ND; Amy Senn, Wilton, ND; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Fred and Agatha Senn, Mott, ND; John Zentner and Martha (Zentner) Landeis; Mott, ND; father-in-law Vincent Meier, Mott, ND.
Memorials made in lieu of flowers will be used for the support of Pam's grandchildren, who she loved dearly, and also the Mott Arboretum, which was her passion.
