Norman W. Olson Hettinger, ND

Service of Remembrance for Norman W. Olson, 73, of Hettinger, ND will be Monday, November 29, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hettinger, ND. Fr. John Mathai will officiate and burial with Full Military Honors by the Johnson Melary American Legion Post #115 will follow at the Hettinger Cemetery. Visitations will be from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28 at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Hettinger and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday morning. A Family Service will be at 7:00 p.m. at the Church.

Norman Olson was found on November 23, 2004 near Hettinger, ND after an extensive search following the disappearance of he and his wife Yvonne on August 14, 2004.

Grateful for having shared his life are his sons, Mark and wife Debbie Olson, of Chandler, AZ and Blake and wife Sharon Olson, of Gilbert, AZ; daughter, Jackie and husband Dave Muggerud, of Hettinger, ND; brother, Harry and wife Darlene Olson, of Great Falls, MT, sisters, Astrid Davidson, of Hettinger, ND, Agda Wifel, of Pelican Rapids, MN and Doris Casey, of St. Paul, MN and sisters-in-law, Deborah Olson and Pauline Olson, both of Hettinger, ND; six grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Brian Kennedy, Nicole and husband Scott Waldron, Tony and wife Amy Muggerud, Christi Muggerud, Kaley Olson, Kyle Olson and ?; two great-grandchildren, Nevin and Kallea Waldron. Preceding Norman in death were his parents, his wife Yvonne, 6 brothers and one sister.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation for everyone's thoughts, prayers, memorials and gifts during the difficult past few months. Any additional gifts, including memorials for Norman and Yvonne are not necessary at this time. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Hettinger, ND.
