Memorial Service for Norbert Chester Franckowiak, 73, of Hettinger, ND will be 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hettinger on Thursday, May 8, 2014.  Fr. Stephen Folorunso will officiate.  Burial will be Saturday, May 24, 2014 at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Elmira, Michigan.


Norbert passed away on February 12th, 2014 surrounded by his family and friends after a courageous fight against cancer.


Grateful for having shared in his life are his wife, Janet, his sons, Kevin (Lisa), Pasco, WA, Kenneth (Diana), Belfair, WA, Michael, Gaylord, MI, his daughter Marie, Bremerton, WA, his grandchildren, Dakota, Colten, Courtney, Iris, Jacob and Titus, his sister, Bernadine Raguiski, Harper Woods, MI, his brother, Martin (Linda), Elmira, MI and a brother-in-law, Ivan Polus, Whitefish, MT.


Norbert was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Louis Franckowiak, his sisters, Julia (Szczepaniak) Polus and Louise in infancy and a brother, Edward.
