Funeral services for Neulyn Harsche, age 27, of New Leipzig, ND, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Leipzig, ND, with Rev. John Amundson officiating.  Burial will be at 3:15 MT at the Big Valley Ranch Cemetery near Shields, ND.

Neulyn Robert Harsche was born on October 18, 1991 in Bismarck, ND, to Leroy and Marcia (Campbell) Harsche.  He attended Headstart at Porcupine, ND and was raised at Shields, ND on the Big Valley Ranch until December of 1996 when his family moved to Carson, ND.  Neulyn attended Roosevelt Public School through the 4 ^th grade where he was a 4-H member of Dakota Kids and Road Runners.  He loved showing cattle and mentoring the youth with their show animals.

In August of 2001 the family moved to New Leipzig, ND, where Neulyn attended and graduated from Grant County High School in 2010.  Following his schooling he had numerous jobs dealing with the farming and ranching life; Neulyn's true passion.  He also drove truck and would help his Grandpa Harold or Uncle Bob whenever they needed it.

Neulyn enjoyed hunting with his family, always trying to out-hike his uncle Rod and Aunt Getty.  He loved fishing, being outdoors, his dogs, horses and cattle; but most of all he loved his nieces and nephews, and teaching them all about the ways of ranching.   He had a large heart and was willing to be of help to anyone in need and any cost to himself.  Neulyn never met a little kid that didn't love to interact with him.

Neulyn passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Jacobson Memorial Hospital in Elgin, ND.

He is survived by his parents, Leroy and Marcia (Campbell) Harsche, New Leipzig, ND; sisters, Miranda (Joshua) Webber, Ft. Gordon, GA, Antoinette "Toni Re" (Congo Hawes) Harsche, Houston, AK, Mikayla (special friend Michael Scholes) Harsche, Bismarck, ND; brother, Royal (special friend Brittany Anderson) Harsche, New Leipzig, ND; nephews, Gavin Tyge, Austin Peterson, Trenton and Gage Hawes, Richard Scholes, and one very special nephew; nieces, Kaelynn Webber and GraceLynn Freidt (his goddaughter); grandfather, Harold Campbell, McIntosh, SD; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and many many friends.

Neulyn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sharon Campbell and Anton Harsche Sr. and Wanda Harsche; and uncles, Stanly Basart, John Harsche and Anton Harsche Jr.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. MT followed by a family service at 7:00 p.m. MT all at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Leipzig, ND.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
