Adeline May Cherry, 77 went to be present with the Lord on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at her son's home in Ventura, CA.

She was born near Regent, ND on August 14, 1936 to John and Esther (Schlaht) Wolf. In her twenties, she married and moved to Denver CO and lived and worked there for 50 years as the sole proprietor of her beauty shop. She earned a living, made a house into a home, and raised her son despite very trying times in her life. Love from her family brought her the most joy. She didn't need much more than that. When any family member or friend was in need, she was there for them. She lived Galatians 6:2. She was a loving daughter to her parents, a loving mother to her son and a loving sister to
her family. Those whom she touched while on this earth were blessed.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. June 3, 2014 at the Assembly of God Church in Mott ND. Pastor David Skjoldal will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at the Peace Lutheran Cemetery southwest of Regent.

May is survived by her son, Brian Cherry; seven brothers: Rueben Wolf, Lavern Wolf, Melvin Wolf, Archie Wolf, Ardeen Wolf, Virgil Wolf, and Russell Wolf, and three sisters, Irene Nutz, Georgene Greff, and Bernadine Jorstad.

She is preceded in death by her parents John and Esther Wolf, and sister, Viola Bertsch.
