Margaret Pribyl age 58 of Camp Crook, died Sunday September 17, 2006 at the Belle Fourche Regional Senior Care Center in Belle Fourche.

A memorial service will be held 1pm Thursday SEPTEMBER 28TH at the United Methodist Church in Camp Crook, with Rev. Jean Helmer and Rev. Milton Douglas officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are with Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche.

Margaret Ann Elizabeth Johnson was born May 17, 1948 in Chicago Illinois. She was the daughter of Robert and Terri Johnson. Margaret grew up in Hinsdale Illinois where she graduated from high school. Following high school, Margaret studied geology in Rapid City for one year. On October 2, 1970 she was married to Gene Pribyl in Rapid City. Following their marriage they lived in Rapid City where Margaret worked for ESPE Printing. In 1974 they moved to Camp Crook where they have lived since. Although she lived with health issues that limited her activities most of her life, Margaret worked and she did spend 3 or 4 years working at the Sky Ranch for Boys in Camp Crook. She has been disabled since 1984. For the past several weeks, Margaret has been hospitalized and for the past two weeks she has resided at the Belle Fourche Regional Senior Care Center.

Margaret will be remembered for her love of gardening. She especially loved gardening flowers. She also enjoyed hand crafts such as cross-stitching and needle point. She was an avid reader and loved her kittens and animals in general.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Gene of Camp Crook; parents, Robert and Terri Johnson of Sierra Vista AZ; brothers, Paul (Liz) Johnson and their children Chaz and Kelley of Monterey CA, and Peter (Jeannie) and their daughter, Olivia of Novato CA.
