Marcella "Marcy" Auen, age 90, of Mott, ND, passed away at the Augusta Place in Bismarck, ND, on Sunday, March 20, 2022.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. MT at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Mott with Fr. Chris Kadrmas, officiating.

A Private Family Burial will be held at Sunnyslope Cemetery in Mott.

Following the Mass, a time of fellowship and refreshments will be held at the Pheasant Café in Mott.

Marcella (Marcy) Mae Kouba was born on August 25, 1931 to Robert and Anna (Tupa) Kouba on the family farm near Regent, ND.

She was united in marriage to Myron Auen on November 19, 1952, at St. Vincent's Catholic church. The young couple began their married life in Mott where 3 children were born to this union, Cheryl, George, and Rod. After the family moved to Regent, Tim joined the family and in 1975 the family, moved back to Mott.

Marcy worked at various jobs in her lifetime, but her greatest accomplishment was caring for her husband and children. Her faith was very important to her and she carried her family in prayer all through her life.

Marcy and Myron shared a love for dancing to old time music and could be seen gliding across the dance floor with the greatest of ease. Marcy also enjoyed bowling in her younger years and became a Denver Broncos fan. She always looked forward to sharing a cup of coffee with her friends and renewing friendships.

Her greatest delight were the visits of family, especially her most precious grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter,  Cheryl (Doug) Olson, Mott, ND, sons George (Cindy) Auen, Bismarck, ND and Tim (Elaine) Auen, Brighton,, CO, grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeremy) Zentner, Ryan ( Desiree) Olson, Dave (Kristi) Olson, Eric (Tiffany)Olson, Jocey (Nate) Jahner, Kayla Norton, Casey (Stephanie) Auen, Cari (Scott) Dunnwald, Brady Auen, Megan Auen and  Great grandchildren  Taylor, Tyler, Tanner and Jenessa Zentner, Jayda, Mercedes, Jaxton and Aften Olson, Connor and Addison Olson, Chase and Shaylee Olson, Taylin, Teagan and Brysen Jahner, Joe and Olivia Dunnwald, and Oakley Auen.

Marcy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Anna Kouba, her husband, Myron, her son, Rod, and 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
