Lyla Reichert's Obituary
Lyla Mae Reichert, age 74, of New Leipzig, North Dakota died December 24, 2016 at Jacobson Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Leipzig, North Dakota. Pastor John Amundson will officiate with burial following at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Lyla Mae was born on June 5, 1942 in Elgin, ND, to Edwin and Laura Reimann. She graduated from Elgin High School in 1962.
On October 12, 1963 she married Leo Reichert. They lived at Bentley, later moving to New Leipzig.
Lyla Mae enjoyed visiting and playing card games with friends and family. She had an extensive collection of movies which she watched with her dog Joey. He was a very important part of her life and gave her incentive when life was difficult.
She is survived by numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, her parents and a brother Carlyle Wilke.
