A graveside memorial service for Lucille will be at 10AM on September 13, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in New Leipzig, North Dakota.
Lucille was born in New Leipzig on August 23, 1931 to Albert and Evelyn (Hurtley) Boyer. Lucille attended a one-room school house until the age of 11 when she moved to Grafton. In 1982, Lucille moved to San Haven. In 1987, Lucille moved to Hettinger and shortly after moved to Dickinson, where she received supports. Through supports at ABLE, Inc, Lucille enjoyed many activities such as Social Clubs, work activities, crafts, music, and visiting with friends and family. Lucille's greatest joys were the gifts of nature; especially cats and puppies. They reminded her of the simple, fun things in life. She greatly enjoyed the company of others and singing with them. "You Are My Sunshine," was one of Lucille's favorite songs.
Lucille is survived by her two brothers, Willard Boyer of Fargo and Ralph Boyer of Bismarck. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Fern, Kenneth, Donald, Harold and three infant siblings.
