LONNY GREFF was born October 31, 1954 in Dickinson, ND to Valentine and Marlene (Moe) Greff. He attended grade school in Regent and graduated from Regent High School in 1972. He moved to Fargo and attended college at NDSU. In 1974, he began working for the City of Fargo, a career that would last for 31 years. Lonny passed away at his home in Fargo of natural causes on November 21, 2005.

Lonny enjoyed playing cards and gardening, was an excellent cook and enjoyed grilling outdoors. His home and yard was always decorated with beautiful flowers and plants. He traveled to other countries and all over the United States, and frequently visited Las Vegas.

Surviving are his parents, Valentine and Marlene Greff, Regent, ND; 2 brothers and 1 sister-in-law, Gregory Greff, Grand Forks, ND; Jeff and Dee Greff, Regent, ND; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Belinda and Bob Thomas, Dickinson, ND; and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
