Mass of Christian Burial for Leona Mischel, 87, of Pahrump, NV, formerly of Regent, ND will be Tuesday, June 6, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Henry's Catholic Church in Regent. Fr. Charles Zins will officiate and burial will follow at the Regent Cemetery. Visitations will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Mott, ND. A Rosary/Wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening at the Church in Regent.

Leona Marie Jacobs was born January 17, 1919 to J.Q. and Goldie Violet (Davidson) Jacobs. She was the oldest of eleven children, all of whom attended St. Mary's in New England, ND. Leona married Paul P. Mischel, in Vancouver, WA in September 1942. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Pahrump, Nevada. Leona passed away May 29, 2006 in Pahrump, NV.

Surviving relatives are her son John Mischel and wife Debbie of Pahrump, Nevada and grandchildren Brian, Breann and Jim; daughter Pat, husband Bill Tysdal and grandsons: Justin of Indianapolis, IN; Aaron, Mountain View, CA; Damian of Boston, MA; sisters, Irene Gion, Francie Wilhelm, Toni Reavis, Quirina Schmidt; brothers; Jerry, Walter, Lennie, Alton and LeRoy Jacobs.


She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, parents and brother Wally Jacobs.
