Leo H. Schrammen, son of Jacob and Bertha (Rosenow) Schrammen, was born on January 21, 1921 south of Reeder, ND on the family farm near the South Dakota border. He lived and farmed on the family homestead until the 1980's when he moved into Reeder. Leo enjoyed farming, visiting his farm after he retired, making scrapbooks, music, doing puzzles and fixing old machinery. He was a member of the Reeder American Legion, Bowman Yesterday's Farmers and Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Reeder. He liked to read his Bible, magazines and kept up with the latest news. He especially looked forward to visits from friends and family.
