KJIRSTEN CAROLYN CARLSON was born on April 20, 1989 in Hettinger, ND to Jim and Sallee (Wiseman) Carlson. She grew up on the family farm and ranch northeast of Regent, ND and went to the Regent School through the 8th grade. Kjirsten then attended the Mott-Regent School in Mott through the 10th grade. She was involved in many activities, including the Junior Auxiliary, was the lead saxophone player in both the Jazz and Concert Bands. Kjirsten was a member of the Mott-Regent Wildfire Volleyball team and also enjoyed playing softball. She loved "keeping up" with the latest technology of cell-phones and computers. Just this last spring and summer, she started and maintained a Rose bed in the yard. Kjirsten worked at the Crocus Inn and also at the Coffee Corner in Regent and enjoyed visiting with both the "young and the old". She often came home with a funny story. Kjirsten was a bright and special girl who's beautiful smile will be remembered by all who've shared her life. Kjirsten passed from this life due to injuries sustained in a motor-vehicle accident early Sunday morning, October 23, 2005 near New Leipzig, ND. A Memorial has been established by the family in lieu of flowers.
