Funeral Services for Kim Bertsch, age 55, of Mott, ND will be held at 11:00 am MT on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Assembly of God Church in Mott, with Pastor John Amundson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunnyslope Cemetery, Mott.

Visitation will be from 3-7 pm on Friday, December 12 at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Mott.

Serving as casketbearers are Tye Schneider, Lacey Schneider, Trish Schneider, Ivana Bigshield, Melvin Friesz, and Keith Hellman.

KIM E. BERTSCH was born on November 14, 1959 in Elgin, ND to Juluis and Irene (Fischer) Bertsch. He spent his childhood on a farm southeast of Burt, ND. Kim graduated from Mott Public School.

Kim enjoyed the farm life. He loved anything that had to do with the outdoors. Whether taking care of his livestock, or taking his dogs with him to do some fishing, hunting or trapping, if he was outdoors, he was happy. He also especially enjoyed his nephew Tye and nieces, Lacey and Trish. He loved making home-made ice cream with family and friends, and appreciated all the pheasant hunters stopping in to let him know how the pheasant hunt went.

Kim passed from this life suddenly on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 doing what he loved to do on the farm.

Grateful for having shared in his life are his sister and brother-in-law Linda and Geig Schneider, Hebron, ND; nephew Tye, Hebron, ND; nieces, Trish, Terry, MT; Lacey, and soon to be nephew, Brandon Koenig, Woodworth, ND; and many foster nieces and nephews.

Preceding Kim in death were his parents, and a twin brother, Jim Bertsch.
