Keith Duane Wolff was born March 31, 1955 in Lemmon, SD to Arthur C. Wolff and Raghnild Wolff. He was raised on the family farm and graduated from Hettinger High School in 1973.
Upon completion of high school, he joined the National Guard of SD. After he completed his basic training, he went to school at NDSCS in Wapheton, ND. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in auto mechanics. In May of 1977, he married Patti Parrow. From this union, three kids were blessed to the family: Tanya Jo (1976), Jason Jerome (1978), and Jeremy Justin (1979).
In June of 1988, Keith married Tammy Melling and from this union, two kids were blessed into the family: Joshua Ray Arthur (1987) and Courtney Nicole (1991). Keith trucked the majority of this life.
He loved the open road and seeing new places. No matter where he went, he always made new friends along the way. He never knew a stranger! His biggest and best accomplishment in his life was his five children and his beautiful grandchildren. There was seldom a time that you didn't see him without hugging or loving on one of his grandchildren. After completing 25 years in the National guard, he retired in 2002. Keith and Tammy decided it was time to take some breaks from always being on the road so they decided to buy a camper. So the camping adventures began! So many card games were played with Sara Steiner (1982-2021) and Mark Wald. Needless to say, the girls won the majority of the games! A few years later while they were camping at Bowman Haley, we decided to "Redneck camp" along with the camping crew. We were joined by Jocie and Ginger the goat. Jake the dog was always curious as to what this creature was and thought he should sniff it, and much to his dismay, Ginger head-butted him. Everyone laughed for hours over it!
Grateful to have shared his life with his wife Tammy, children: Tanya (Chris) Hopkins, Jason (Liz) Wolff, Jeremy (Brandi) Wolff, Joshua Wolff, and Courtney (Jake) VanFleet, his grandchildren: Emma Howey, Anna (Jakob Redford) Hopkins, Ethan Howey, Kaylee Dickerman, Grace Wolff, Ty Wolff, Joclyn Wolff, Sydnee Wolff, Jackson VanFleet, Alice Hopkins, Wyatt and Bryce VanFleet and one great-grandson, Bentlee Redford. His sisters and brothers: Evelyn Buchfink, Lynn (Gail) Wolff, Beatta Baker, Brian Wolff, Leann (Bill) Wolff, Debbie Wolff and Ann Wolff. His mother-in-law Ione Melling along with Patti Wolff, Cliff Howey, Kristi Dick, and Amber Wolff and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Raghnild Wolff, his brothers, Jerome, Neil, Orville, and Dean, his brother-in-laws, Rodney Buchfink and Phil Baker, his father-in-law, Allen "Butch" Melling, and one grandson, Micah Keith Wolff. He will be carried by Derrick Stecher, Joshua Raab, Jonny Maher, Matt Beld, Shawn Molitor, Gary Molitor, and Tate Resner.
