On April 16, 2023 at age 3, Kaylee Mae Lynn Hilkemeier was welcomed into heaven by Jesus.

The Memorial Service for Kaylee will be held at 2:00pm MT on Monday, April 24, 2023 at the New Hope Worship Center in Lemmon with Pastor Rand Bentley, officiating.

Kaylee was born on November 17, 2019 in Hettinger, ND to Casey and Danielle (Butler) Hilkemeier. It became clear she was an angel sent from heaven bringing joy and light to all of those who knew her. Kaylee had a contagious smile and sparkling eyes that could light up a room. She attended Headstart where she was quick to make friends wherever she went. She loved all types of music and loved dancing. When the music came on, she'd sing along.

Kaylee loved all the cartoon characters but Minnie Mouse was by far her favorite.

Kaylee loved to attend church, as it brought her much joy and comfort.

Going to the park along with her pet Lab, Rocksha was one of her favorite places. She loved picking flowers and in the winter months, eating the snow. Kaylee loved food, especially Powderhorn Pizza. She is now running, swimming, and doing all the things she loved to do here on earth.

Keeping Kaylee in their fondest memories are her parents, Casey and Danielle; Grandparents, Kristy (Mike) Kile, Joyce (Gary) Sandquist, all of Lemmon, SD; Tim (Buffy) Hilkemeier, in Utah; and numerous aunts, uncles, and family members.

She was preceded in death by her grandma Shirley Hilkemeier and pet Rocksha.
