Judith "Judy" Materna, age 78, of rural Hettinger, ND, passed away on Friday morning, September 17, 2021 at Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND.

Private Family Graveside services will be held at a later date.

Judy is survived by her husband, Joe Materna, Hettinger, ND, children, Frank Materna, rural Hettinger, ND, twins, June (Lewis) Petrik, Wolf Point, MT and Jerry Materna, rural Scranton, ND, one granddaughter, Joleigh Petrik, Ripon, WI, brother, Phillip (Sharon) Ellingson, Hettinger, ND, sisters, Beverly Byers, Hettinger, ND and Kathy (Zach) Jones, Reeder, ND, brother-in-law, Darwin Huiner, rural Hettinger, ND, sister-in-law, Ruby (Fritz) Goerndt, Baker, MT and numerous nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Flora Ellingson, two sisters at birth, Sonja De Etta and Ja Nelle Eileen and sister Cleo Huiner.
