Jill Annette Engraf, 54, Reeder, died from injuries sustained in a tragic vehicle accident on August 15 th , 2021, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, North Dakota with family by her side.

Jill was born on November 17 th , 1966 in Dickinson, ND, at St. Joseph's hospital to Gene and Marilyn (Hjemvik) Engraf.  She attended New England High School where she participated in choir and band.  Jill graduated high school in 1985 and moved to Grand Forks, ND where she attended the University of North Dakota.  In the early 1990s, Jill packed up and ventured out to Colorado where she followed her dreams of singing and playing music in many different bands including most recently, a Scorpions cover band called BlakOut.  Jill was incredibly talented and loved to perform.  She formed many special friendships with her bandmates, all of whom she cherished.  Jill received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Metro State University in Denver, CO.   In October of 2001, Jill married Tim Gardiner in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.  In 2007, Jill and Tim moved to Evans, Colorado where Jill worked for Angels Care Home Health.  She enjoyed visiting retirement homes with her beloved dog Skip, spreading love, joy and comfort to those residing there.  In 2017, after the death of her parents Gene and Marilyn, Jill moved back to Hettinger with her high school sweetheart Jeff Gullickson.  They worked the Engraf ranch with help from Jeff's daughter Robyn and many generous neighbors up until her untimely death.

Jill was a devoted friend to all that knew her.  She loved animals, especially her favorite dogs Skip, Oakley and Junior, and of course her cats.  Spot, the horse, also had a special place in her heart.  She wasn't afraid of hard work and getting her hands dirty.  If a job needed to be completed, Jill would do it.  She was an amazing cook.  She enjoyed tending to her garden and harvesting the fruits of her labor.  Jill made the best homemade salsa in the world.

Although Jill left us much too soon, the impact that she made on our lives is immeasurable.

Jill is survived by her partner Jeff Gullickson, Reeder, sisters Shari (Tracy) Doe, Bismarck, ND; Gail (Warren) Doe, New England, ND; uncle Ervin Hjemvik, Rancho Mirage, CA; nieces Cristal (Barb) Doe, Moorhead, MN; Annie (Don) Doe, New England, ND; nephew Kory (Brennan) Doe, New England, ND; great nieces Kelsey, Sophia, and Olivia Doe; grandnephews Westin Gilman and Liam Doe and special friends Robyn Gullickson and her son Avian Gullickson-Gant.
