Jen, 43, died at Roosevelt Medical Center in Culbertson, Montana Saturday afternoon, November 5 after an extended illness.

Jennifer Rae Grosz was born May 5, 1973, in Bismarck, ND, to Kevin and Bonnie (Rath) Grosz. At six months old she traveled to Ansbach, Germany, where she lived with her family for two years. Upon returning to the United States she lived in Kentucky, Elgin, ND and started first grade in Dickinson, ND.

Her family then moved to Bismarck, ND, where she lived and continued school until November 3, 1986 when she had a tragic accident. Jennifer's life changed immensely due to being 100% disabled. But it did not stop her gleaming eyes and contagious smile. She could speak more with her eyes and facial expression than some can with a thousand words.

God's plan for her was to be a teacher. She taught just by the love in her eyes. So many people were impacted by Jennifer's presence, that many professions where chosen because of her special needs.

She lived at home for 20 years and then made her home at Valley View Nursing Home in Glasgow. In 2009 her new apartment was at Roosevelt Medical Center until she became a heavenly angel peacefully in her sleep on November 5, 2016.

Jennifer's room was a "go to" room when anyone of the staff needed a smile or a pick me up. She listened, she smiled, and her eyes responded with "I love you and it will be okay". Her disability did not keep her tied down. She traveled with family to the Black Hills, Medora, Washington, and to many family and church gatherings. She also loved spending time at the cabin at Ft. Peck and the ranch.

Keeping her in their fondest memories are her mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Zane Panasuk, Culbertson, MT, her father, Kevin Grosz and brother, Dustin (Bobbie) Grosz, all of Vancouver, WA, stepsisters, Sheridan (Dan) Cotrell, Billings, Jericho Panasuk, Hawaii, and Cary Cochran, Bozeman; her maternal grandparents, Arthur and Mildred Rath, paternal grandmother Lois Grosz all of Elgin, ND; nieces & nephews, Britny (Brock) Carrier, Tyler (Megan) Grosz, Brianna and Brooke Grosz, great niece and nephew, Sydnee and Keenan Carrier, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Randy Grosz.
