Jeffrey Lee Frank was born June 1, 1972, in Hettinger, ND to Willie and Debbie Frank. He joined big brother Shawn and later little sister Tiffany was welcomed. He attended school in Hettinger, graduating in 1990. He was a proud "Black Devil." Jeff played football in high school, and excelled on the wrestling mat, placing 6th as a junior, and 3rd as a senior at state wrestling. Jeff was a very talented baseball player, playing Legion baseball, and later earned Jr. College All State for the NDSU Bottineau Lumberjacks.
Following high school, Jeff joined the Army National Guard, serving for 6 years. He earned a degree in diesel mechanics at Wahpeton. Immediately after earning his degree, he moved to Colorado, and spent 6 years as a Bobcat diesel mechanic at Bobcat of the Rockies. While there, he spent many hours with his "Colorado Frank Family," and made many friends. He moved back to N.D., where he worked in construction and the oil fields.
During his time in Colorado, he and close friend and classmate, Kris, were involved in a car accident that took the life of Kris. This was an earth-shattering event for Jeff and altered his life forever. Now the two friends are together again.
Jeff welcomed his son, Jaron, in 2005. Jaron was the light of his life. He was extremely proud of him. He followed Jaron's wrestling career with a passion.
Jeff loved all things sports. He became a New York Yankee and Dallas Cowboy fan at a very young age. He passed his love of them on to son, Jaron, and step-daughter, Justice, even attending several games.
Jeff was an avid fisherman and spent many hours on the riverbanks fishing with his family and friends.
As a young adult Jeff enjoyed playing slow and fast pitch softball in N.D and Colorado. He loved building demolition derby cars and won several championships.
Jeff was a great storyteller and entertained friends and classmates with stories of their adventures through the years.
Jeff had a very soft heart and always stuck up for the bullied and picked on. He always stepped in and defended anyone that was being bullied.
He loved his "granddogs," Apollo and Creed, and kept them every chance he could.
