Mass of Christian Burial for Jeannie Wolf, 46, of Hettinger, ND will be Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hettinger. Fr. Joseph Chipson will officiate and burial will follow at the Hettinger Cemetery. Visitations will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17 at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Hettinger and one hour prior to the Mass on Tuesday at the church. A Rosary/Vigil service will be Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

JEANNIE ANN KUNTZ was born on September 14, 1962 in Rapid City, SD to John. P. and Adeline (Rieger) Kuntz. Her family lived in Rapid City until Jeannie was four years old, when they moved to Hettinger, ND. She attended school in Hettinger where she met Paul John Wolf, Jr. in 1975. They were united in marriage on October 24, 1977. Jeannie worked at the City Café until they moved to Hebron in 1978 where they lived to two years. Jeannie and Paul moved to Marmarth, ND where their first son, John Paul was born. Jeannie's family finally settled in Hettinger in 1982 where she was employed by the hospital in the cleaning department, then the nursing home as a Certified Nurses Assistant. Jeannie also tended bar and was a busy woman, babysitting and working at the drive-in movie theater. Their second son, Paul John was born on Nov. 6th, 1988. Jeannie started the Wolf Den Café in 1999 and operated that for three years. Jeannie and Paul moved out into the country with her son John and his wife Sam in 2005. Jeannie loved her animals and enjoyed the remainder of her years out on the farm.


Jeannie Wolf passed away suddenly at the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger on Friday, Nov. 14, 2008. She will be deeply missed by her family and all of their friends.


Grateful for sharing in her life are her husband, Paul Wolf, Jr., their sons, John (Samantha) Wolf and Paul John Wolf III, and fiance, Holly Daley and the family's special family friend, Victoria Buchmann, all of Hettinger; her mother, Adeline McCurley, of Grand Island, NE; brothers, Ron Kuntz, of Mandan, ND and Alan (Loretta) Kuntz, of Haynes, ND and one sister, Sue (Jake) Schmidt, of Mandan, ND.


Jeannie was preceded in death by her father, John P. Kuntz, her grandparents, Fred and Martha Rieger, Peter and Appolina Kuntz and a nephew, Michael Schmidt.

A memorial has been established by her family.
