Obituary

Jason Holloway departed our midst on December 28, 2005, like a ship sailing in the fog. He has gone to be with his Lord and his departed son, Andrew.

Jason Leon Holloway was born October 2, 1972 at Hettinger, ND. He attended schools in various communities around this country, but the bulk of his education was completed in the New Leipzig Public School system, from which he graduated in 1991. Jason enjoyed many things. Amongst them were reading, playing video games, repairing computers and last but not least, was driving truck, his chosen profession. At this time of his death, he was driving truck for J-Mar Trucking out of Bismarck.

Although Jason has left our midst, he has left us with many memories. Each of us will cherish those which were most memorable to us.

He leaves behind many friends and the following family, his wife, Carolyn, sons, D.J. age 15, Michael age 13, and Alec age 7, his mother and father, Roberta and Steve Palaniuk; all of New Leipzig, ND; 2 aunts, Joyce Liedtke, Lemmon, SD; Carol Cassezza, Minot, ND; 1 uncle, Fred Liedtke, Elgin, ND; as well as a large extended family. Jason will be missed by all who knew him. Although Jason will be gone, he will not be forgotten.

Funeral services for Jason, age 33, of New Leipzig will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, December 31, at the Christus Congregational Church in New Leipzig. Pastor John Amundson will officiate with burial in the Congregational Cemetery at New Leipzig.

A family service will be held at 7:00pm on Friday evening at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Elgin.

Special music will be provided by Alma Mueller, organist. Serving as Honorary Casketbearers are Elko Palaniuk Jr., Paul Conkling Jr., Paul Conkling, Jim Barnett, D.J. Bender, and Michael Bender. Active casketbearers are Clarence Roth Jr., Clark Hodell, Glenn Luithle, Chester Dietz, Ronnie Koenig, and Steven Palaniuk.

A memorial has been established for the further education of his children.
