Funeral services for IvaDell Honeyman, 85, of Reeder, ND will be Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. MT at the Centennial Chapel of Evanson Jensen Funeral Homes in Hettinger, ND. Burial will follow at the Hettinger Cemetery in Hettinger, ND. Visitations will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at the Centennial Chapel and one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday morning.


Iva Dell Honeyman was born on August 17,1927, the first of three children born to Emil and Sadie (Rose) Bartz. She was raised in Reeder, North Dakota and graduated from Reeder High School in 1945. She married Raymond Honeyman on June 6, 1946, and they were blessed with two children, Barbara and Rick.


Iva Dell loved to coffee with her Rose cousins and numerous friends, diligently work on her crossword puzzles, and had multiple television shows she enjoyed watching. Her greatest joys, however, were her three granddaughters, Jenifer, Elizabeth and Andrea. From the time they were infants through their adulthood they brought her a delight that was indescribable. They blessed her with five great-grandchildren who brighten her day whenever they came to visit.


With her family by her side, she peacefully went home to her Lord on Saturday, December 15, 2012. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Cathy Honeyman of Stanton; granddaughters, Jenifer (Troy) Leonard, Elizabeth (Adam) Klindworth, and Andrea Smith of Bismarck; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Aria and Ashtyn Leonard, Benjamin Klindworth, and Trent Smith. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.


Her beloved husband, Raymond; her adored daughter Barbara; her loving parents Emil Bartz, Sadie Bartz, and Erik Horvey; and her two brothers, Ronald and Robert Bartz, precede her in death.
