Helen Marie Spoering, age 91, of Bison, SD, passed away on Thursday evening, January 23, 2020 at the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger, ND.

Private family services will be held.

Marie was born in Newport Nebraska on March 1, 1928 to Frank and Anna Seberger and passed away January 23, 2020. She was united in marriage on June 10, 1948 to LeRoy Spoering. They celebrated 71 years of marriage. They moved from Nebraska to Wyoming before purchasing a farm near Bison in 1957 where they raised their family Gary, Bonnie and Connie and began farming. She remained active in the farm life until her death and loved gardening especially raising potatoes.

Grateful for sharing her life is her husband LeRoy, son Gary, San Francisco, and daughters Connie (Bob) Hermann, Lemmon, and Bonnie Sander, Bison, 5 grandchildren Jamie Hermann, Laurie Casper, Ryan Hermann, Eric Sander and Mandy Ericsson; 10 great-grandchildren. Other survivors is a brother-in-law Delmar Spoering.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Ted, mother and father-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law and one grandson Darin Hermann.
