Helen Gordon, age 89, of Hettinger, ND, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger, ND.
Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held in September of 2017 in Hettinger, ND.
Helen was born in her parents' sod house in Taylor Butte Township, Adams County, North Dakota on March 30, 1928. Her parents were Peter and Ida (Davidson) Trunkhill. She married Warren Neil Cornella on December 6, 1945. Neil passed away on July 5, 1976.
Helen was Mom to her three children, Charlotte Cornella Nolan (Steve Parker), Gary (Rita) Cornella and Larry Cornella. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild as well as 2 sisters-in-law, Melva Cornella Stevens and Ada Jean Cornella, many cousins and friends.
