Harley Alva Reyman Belle Fourche

Funeral Services for Harley Reyman, 92, of Belle Fourche will be held at 10AM Saturday October 30th, 2004 at the Belle Fourche Wesleyan Church with Pastor Pete Bonnichsen officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Slope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1PM to 7PM Friday, October 29th at the Funeral Home of the Northern Hills, an Eldon Jensen Family "Funeral Home of Caring"Ò in Belle Fourche. A Memorial has been established.

Harley Alva Reyman was born November 4th, 1911 in Cushing, Iowa to John and Lillian (Beasley) Reyman. He spent his youth in Iowa. As a young man, he traveled the rails and worked many places on the West Coast. After traveling, he came to the Isabel, SD area and worked for Oscar Rosander. During this time he met Florene Elna Rosander and they were married on October 15th, 1937 in Timber Lake, SD.

While Harley and Florene lived and worked on several ranches in the Faith and Dupree, SD areas, they were blessed with the births of their two children, Dean and Norma. They moved their family to Belle Fourche in 1956. In Belle Fourche, Harley worked as a foreman for SEBA Betonite Trucking for five years. He then worked for IMC until retirement. While retired, Harley worked part time for 19 years for American Colloid Company until fully retiring in 1996.

Harley Alva Reyman passed away Friday night, October 22, 2004 at the Belle Fourche Long Term Care Center with his family by his side.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife of 67 years, Florene of Belle Fourche; one son Dean and Carol Reyman, Belle Fourche; one daughter Norma and Les Bryan, Spearfish; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Reyman Jr.
