Gretchen Grace Hauck, infant daughter of Kip and Danielle (Fischer) Hauck of Bismarck, passed gently into the arms of Jesus on October 2, 2011.

She is the answer to their prayers, and they waited for her birth with joyful expectation. She weighed 8 lbs. and 1 oz. and was 21 ½ " long. During her brief visit on earth, she touched many lives and was deeply loved. "Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep."

Gretchen Grace is deeply loved by her mommy and daddy, big brother, Gavin, and big sister, Madelyn; maternal grandparents, Ron and Jackie Fischer, Elgin, ND; paternal grandfather, Larry Hauck, New Leipzig, ND; maternal great grandparents, Bernice Fischer, Elgin, ND; Dave and Norma Hillius, Elgin, ND; paternal great grandmother, Ruby Will, Elgin, ND; aunts and uncles, Amber and Brian Schatz, Rena and Brooks Martin, Rhamie Hauck, and cousins, Anna, Claire, Logan, Maverick, Riley, Autumn, Kayla and Lee.


She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Bonnie Hauck; paternal great grandparents, Ervin and Elsie Hauck, paternal great grandfather, Ray Will; maternal great grandfather, Edwin Fischer.


A Private Family Service will be held at 10:30am Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Elgin. Pastor John Amundson will officiate with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.-
